The Women Welfare Cell of Duliajan Girls’ College is the subsidiary of Women Cell and was formed in 2013 with the goal of advancing gender equality and justice in all activities of the institution.

Aims and Objectives:

To increase awareness of women’s issues and to make the college campus a safe Environment for them.
To give women a place to express their stories and opinions about their social status, as well as offer strategies to improve and empower themselves.
To promote women’s empowerment through guest lectures, seminars, awareness programmes, life skill training programmes, entrepreneur training and other welfare activities, with the goal of academic and social upliftment of female students.
To reduce gender disparities, particularly in academics, empowering women to achieve emotional, physical, and mental freedom in order to cope with life’s changes and to improve one’s self-esteem and overall quality of life.
