Special Announcement on New Awards And Abolishition of Previous Scholarship and Award. Duliajan Girls’College Duliajan, Dibrugarh, Assam-786602

  1. Monaj Tamuly an inhabitant of Duliajan and former Lecture, Department of Economics, Duliajan Girls’College, sponsored the ‘Best Gradute Award’ in the memory of his mother ‘Kusum Tamuly’on 2008. (Kusum Tamuly expired on 2007), Mr. Tamuly sponsored a running Trophy to the Best Gradute of the college and each year he had provided a replica on this occasion. But in 2018, Mr. Tamuly informed to the present principal of the college Dr. Lakhimi Phukon, that he will not continue the Award from 2018. That is why in this year, the college offered the ‘Best Gradute Award -2018’ to Ms. Porinita Gogoi, and she received the main Trophy sponsored by Mr. Tamuly on 06.02.2019. Hence the provision of ‘Best Gradute Award’sponsored by Monaj Tamoly demolished by 2019.
  2. Ajoy Kumar Bhatta and his family sponsored 3 Nos. of students scholarship to the poor, meritorious students of the college from-2011 and at first the amount of scholarship was Rs. 2,000/- each (In word: Two thousand only), and later on he enhenced the amount to Rs. 3,000/- each (In word: Three thousand only). But he informed to the Vice-Principal Mrs. Sujata Borkataky that he will not sponsored the same from 2019. And hence this of scholarship will not continue from 2019. It is also notable that he sponsored the scholarship for 2018, reducing the amount to Rs. 2,000/- (In word: Two thousand only).
  3. On the eve of the prize distribution function of 20th college week of Duliajan Girls’College the Principal of the college Announce that from 2019 the ‘Best Attendence Award’will consist of Rs. 5,000/- (In word: Five thousand only) with the Trophy, but one should maintain 100% attendence (96% to 100%).
